MSCPCR has an unending ambitious agenda - The Protection of Child's Rights. Therefore, in order to augment the realisation of child protection, security and safety of children, MSCPCR certainly is at the forefront, spreading awareness sensitising the public, esp. the children towards the effective legislations of existing child rights laws in the state of Mizoram.
In pursuance of this very agenda, MSCPCR conducts yet another Child Rights Awareness Campaign for the students of Govt. Tahril HS and Govt. Tanhril MS I & II, and Govt.
Pi Lalengvari, MSS, Secretary, MSCPCR; Pi Priscilla Lallawmsangi, Legal Officer, MSCPCR and Pu C. Lalduhawma, State Child Rights Coordinator, MSCPCR graced the awareness programme being organised. Pi Priscilla Lallawmsangi and Pu C. Lalduhawma while addressing on many important Child Rights Acts have had a strenuous informative and educative sessions on specific rights which are more related and relevant to the context of Mizoram, covering and highlighting from Provisions under IPC & CrPC for children and its legislations; POCSO Act, 2012; JJ Act, 2015; RTE Act, Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006; The Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, etc.
The students and the school authorities have much benefitted from the programme.
